Short answer: you can't. Not yet. No demo, no open test, no release date. We take screenshots straight from the build and post them on the forum and in the site gallery. Engine-recorded clips are on the way.
We're not naming a date because we don't know it. Naming a random date is like feeding a zombie: feels nice now, hurts later.
How not to miss it
- Wishlist on Steam: the Wishlist button in the site header. Steam will let you know when it's out.
- The Development page on the site: what's built, what's in progress, what's planned.
- This thread. When any test appears, we'll post it here.
About keys. There are no test keys of any kind right now. If someone is selling them or handing them out for clicking a link, that's not us, and that's not a key. And we will never ask for your Steam login or password.
Now, your turn. We haven't picked a test format yet, and your answers will shape it:
- What's the fairest way to hand out access: random keys, an open weekend for everyone, or sign-ups?
- How much time would you give a rough early build — an evening, a weekend, a week?
- How many of you will come to the test: solo or with your own squad? And would you play with strangers if you're short on people?
- What would make you close the test after an hour and never come back?
- What would you join the first test for: raids, the hub, fights with other players, the infected? What do you want to get your hands on first?
Answering just one is fine — include its number.
