Comms protocol for new arrivals. Read once.

Ranks. Counted by number of posts. Time served at the fence doesn't count.

• Fresh — 0
• Rookie — 1+
• Survivor — 10+
• Raider — 50+
• Veteran — 150+
• Guide — 500+
• Quarantine Authority — administration. Can't be earned.

Formatting

• **bold** → bold
• *italic* → italic
• ~~strikethrough~~ → strikethrough
• > text — quote
• - item or 1. item — list
• [text](https://…) — link
• ### text — subheading
• error text goes in backticks: like this

Enter starts a new line, a blank line starts a new paragraph. No images or HTML in your posts: share a screenshot as a link. Only our posts with build screenshots carry images.

Spoilers. Two vertical bars on each side: ||text||. Looks like this:

The Guide has never left early. Five seconds means five seconds.

Routes to stashes go under spoilers, no exceptions. Double bars always trigger, even inside code. Want a plain bar? Use a single one.

House rules. Don't feed the trolls: like everything in the Zone, it makes them smarter. If you see a violation, hit "Report" under the post. Post too fast and comms will make you hold for a bit.

Where to post. Ideas go to Ideas; site and forum bugs go to Bugs, in the site and forum bugs thread; squad hunting goes to Looking for group; everything else to the Campfire.
